Amethyst – Software for managing bridge scales

Amethyst is a bespoke piece of software which manages bridge scales at the entrance or exit from a plant/landfill/transit station/etc. The software contains all the data required for the performance of weighing certificates and it can also transfer data to an ERP system. The software also contains a wide range of reports that can be used to analyze any result or data point as required by the customer.

In the tables, you can define lists of drivers, trucks, freight companies, customers, materials and operators. The lists are saved for quick retrieval when trucks are weighed and the data is subsequently stored to produce efficient reports.

On the finished certificates screen, you can see the entire history of weight measurements. You can segment the data to reach the relevant certificate/collection of documents and view it in real time on the screen. Any segmentation can be printed. It’s also possible to recover documents, to retroactively view them and to make corrections (if appropriate). It also allows you to reprint any documents that have been lost or destroyed.

In this screen, you can define which certificates you want to export to an external file. The file can be read in ERP systems or you can just open it in Excel to analyse the various data points. You can also export a transaction file between specific dates or from a certain certificate number.

From the reports screen, you can generate reports in endless segments. You can see concentrated or detailed data on overall activity, on a specific segment or for several segments (i.e. only X, Y, Z of A and B clients taken between certain dates). The reports make it easy to select one, some, or all of the data for an unlimited period of time. The reports can then be transferred to the screen or printer of choice.

Of course, the software contains so many other features that we couldn’t list them all here. There are also many sub-versions that have been created according to specific customer requirements. The software is available in additional languages and can be adapted to any language on request.
